01 project background 

as the most competitive enterprise in china's bearing industry, in order to solve the current difficulty in recruiting and retaining people, the problem of invisibly increasing a lot of labor costs, and the eagerness to improve the automation level of cylindrical roller turning processing. finally, the "2 sets of 3d vision 3 robot systems to realize the automatic loading and unloading of rollers of 4 sets of lathes" designed by hanchine. 


02 project proposals 

two sets of 3d vision robot disorderly loading systems and one set of robotic unloading and palletizing systems are used. each loading system is responsible for two sets of lathes, and the unloading system is responsible for four sets of lathes at the same time, as shown in figure 2: 


among them, the 3d vision robot disorderly feeding system is mainly composed of a 3d vision camera, a robot and its control cabinet, an industrial computer, a seventh axis and an end effector, as shown in figure 3: 


through 3d vision robot seventh axis technology, the automatic feeding of the disordered and scattered rollers in the deep frame is realized, the grasping cycle is no more than 12 seconds, the grasping accuracy is better than ±2.0mm, and it is compatible with φ40~60mm roller.

among them, the robot unloading and palletizing system is mainly composed of the robot and its control cabinet, the end effector, the conveying roller line, etc., as shown in figure 4: 


through the design and control technology of the end effector, the automatic stacking and blanking functions of the tray and the roller are realized. the blanking cycle is no more than 6 seconds, and it is compatible with φ40~60mm rollers.

03 project effect

  •  based on 3d vision and robots, the rollers of 4 sets of lathes can be automatically loaded and unloaded, reducing labor costs by about 75%
  • based on the design of the end mechanism and the seventh-axis control technology, it greatly reduces the blind area of grasping, and the grasping success rate is significantly improved
